Vbulletin and phpBB has some plugins to implement adsense code into the post. THe adsense appear after the first post of the topic and never appear again. This way you get more clicks from your website... Is there a way to do this in miniBB?

sounds like a good idea, I have not signed up to adsense but I plan to, if you can post some sample code that you use for adsense here I will work on a plugin.

It should not be to hard just check for the action view post then #1 post insert the google adsense code to it.

Could the adsense be designed more naturally with the thread layout? For example, with the same width as the message cell.

Adsense is fully customisable when requesting the code from google.

I presume it will be possible to get the required width or very close at least.

I will sign up to adsense however it maybe some time before I get approval.

I am just messing about with some different designs on my test server, adding it to a new row etc. I will update if I hit on anything that looks better.

This is better example of the function (parseMessage() could be used also for another purposes - be sure you combine this code with other, if it's existing). This needs to be pasted in bb_plugins.php.

It is customizable only as far as colors are concerned. Otherwise it is IFRAME and you cannot customize its wisth, etc.

Yes, something like that, or new ad after second post in each page.

If after each message, you just need to remove if ($GLOBALS['anchor'] == 1){ condition in the code I've placed above. Of use $GLOBALS['anchor'] == 2 condition for displaying after each second post.

Did you add "$anchor" in current minibb version?

It's added actually a long time ago and yes, available in current release for sure. So mentioned code should work for the latest release.

This might be dumb but when adding that code to bb_plugins.php I get a

PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare parsemessage() (previously declared in /srv/www/htdocs/forum/bb_plugins.php:8
