Does anybody suffers from periodical temporary "database/configuration error" - some kind of database cache overflow, which makes forum anavailable for few (1-15) minutes??

sounds like a server issue, do you know if your database exists in the same physical location as your webserver (the same machine) or if it has to talk across a network?

in any way it's database problem not miniBB problem. database becomes unavailable for 1-15 minutes on your server.. you can turn on error reporting by adding error_reporting(E_ALL); line into setup_options.php file and add echo mysql_error(); line right after mysql_connect lines on top of the setup_mysql.php file to see what kind of error message does php return when connecting to the database

I have set error_reporting(E_ALL); on.
But I don't get errors only if my search has one character.

Which version of miniBB do you have? 1.7b should work WITHOUT these errors (and as for example, it is working with all errors turned on like on this server).

All I can say - upgrade to 1.7 first, then you will get off of these errors. Second, this error with database, as I might know, could appear when your hosting provider has more than one database, and some of databases (not obligately yours) has very active overload. Try to use command FLUSH HOSTS on mysql.

How to use this command?

Via Mysql Front, for example, PHP My Admin, direct command shell etc.
