admin panel links are not working

I have installed minbb. All my tables have been created and my Admin data has been successfully added. however, when I go to the links, Create forums and Go to admin panel, it takes me to a "Page not found" area. Can anyone help me?

Be sure you have correctly specified $bb_admin setting in setup_options.php (admin panel's file name). RTFM for more...

Post as a Guest, leaving the Password field blank. You could also enter a Guest name, if it's not taken by a member yet. Sign-in and post at once, or just sign-in, bypassing the message's text.
