How do you lock a forum from user editing?

Hello and thank you for your time in advance. I was wondering if there was a way to lock a few particular forums so that only the admin can edit them. I want to have a general section with information that should be locked. If anywone knows how then please let me know. Thank you very much.

have a look in bb_specials.php for the array $roForums=array(). put in there the id of the forum you want to lock.

Post as a Guest, leaving the Password field blank. You could also enter a Guest name, if it's not taken by a member yet. Sign-in and post at once, or just sign-in, bypassing the message's text.
