Unregistering from forums

It is possible for the registered user to delete his own membership without going through Admin? I was looking in 'Preferences' but could not see an option to unsubscribe from forums (i.e. return to 'unregistered' status).

It is not possible. Only admin can remove users.

Post as a Guest, leaving the Password field blank. You could also enter a Guest name, if it's not taken by a member yet. Sign-in and post at once, or just sign-in, bypassing the message's text.
