how can I run the Password reminder / forgotten password

Is it possible to add an passwordreminder ?

Just klick on Password on the login Page (? sign in the most recent versions).

how can i re-issue a users password, if they have forgotten it?

rather than get them to re-register

User needs to click on a "Password" link near password login field. New password will be sent on user's email and activated after he confirms that.

Post as a Guest, leaving the Password field blank. You could also enter a Guest name, if it's not taken by a member yet. Sign-in and post at once, or just sign-in, bypassing the message's text.
