Excluding specific forum from 'Recent Stuff' via $lastOut — does it work?

It seems that the setting 'bb_specials array $lastOut' doesn't work with the 'Recent Stuff first page layout?

Am I missing something (again!)?

It works, but not for the Admin (don't remember about Moderators, but probably for them it's not included, too).

So — it is only for regular users, guests, search engines. Check it out while not being logged as an administrative.
