What fields user_custom1 user_custom2 and user_custom3 mean under the users table

now tell me the purpose of these fields
user_custom1;user_custom2; and user_custom3

defined for the table
minibb_users

what are the purpose of those fields
does it make any change for the query if i remove those
field from the table minibb_users

These fields may be used for external user-profile related add-ons like Signatures, Avatars, Photo Album, and others. As soon you don't install plugins or do not customize the board, you don't need these fields and are allowed to drop them from database. However in that case don't forget to remove their references from setup_options.php file as well.
