We have a 'testing' topic in our forums, which really needs to not be included in the 'main_last_discussions' on the main page.

Is that possible?
I can't find an option for that...

Not Appear in the 'main_last_discussions' list, but obviously all posts to be there when you enter the specific forum area.

I still don't understand this, sorry. Obviously you need to use a proper specification:

- Post, or message, is a single piece of text
- Topic, or thread, is a collection/list of related/grouped messages
- Forum is a collection/list of related/grouped topics
- Forums are your community, in whole.

So what should not appear and where? What kind of 'posts'?

If you talk about a single topic excluded from the Recent Discussions, it's not possible on the topic's level. Only a certain Forum could be excluded from the Recent list, you may take a look in Manual how it's done. Probably, you could create a single Forum, where to collect all such "excluded" topics - that's the only way.

Sorry - hard to explain...

But, within our Forums we have one Forum called 'The Sheds'
This Forum is just for testing things, such as posting pictures.
Ideally any topics/threads/posts in this Forum should not appear within the 'Recent Discussions List'.

So yes, it is exclude one of the Forums... I'll check the Manual again, but I couldn't find the way to do this when I looked.

(Just me being stupid again!)

Look for the $lastOut option in bb_specials.php for that.
