Is there a way to show the full messages, rather than just the subject line, on the initial page?

Thanks for your reply.

I set $textLd=1 in my index.php file.
$lastPostText is indeed set to a message's text (I echo'd it at the end of index.php, so it's set somewhere in between).

However, posts still aren't showing when "action=vtopic".

Any ideas?

You need to edit templates/main_topics_cell.html as well and paste the proper tag there i.e. {$lastPostText}.

The same for any other template where you'd like to see this text appearing.
