How to retrieve a Forum's Name / Title

Hi ! i've tried to use {$fTitle[$forum]} in my templates as mentioned in several posts - but it doesn't show up.
I would like to mention the forum's name a thread belongs to (in the page title, header, footer, etc.)
Can you help please?

{$fTitle[$forum]} could be used only for Recent Discussions/Topics listings (like for example I mentioned it here).

If you are about to display the forum's title on the topic viewing page, try Specific.
