Hi

Is this a bug or a setting I could not find anywhere? I searched this forum too but could not find anything about it... Anyways I tried out today miniBB but I cannot seem to post any messages, the post topic button is not working. I'm using miniBB 2.2 with finnish language file. And mozilla firefox 2.0.0.13.

Firebug says this error:
submitForm is not defined
onclick(click clientX=0, clientY=0)

Thanks.

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention, I set permissions of every file to 744. The main forum folder should be (apparently) 755 since the forum doesn't work with 744...

Without seeing the exact URL it's hard to say what's wrong. I've just tested miniBB with Finnish language pack and it seems to work nice.

On your server something is wrong with the paths or settings, As you see, none of the forum images like forum icons or BB code buttons are displayed as well. And if you point for example to

http://www.petterisalminen.com/forum/img/forum_icons/default.gif

or

http://www.petterisalminen.com/forum/templates/form.js

none of those files can be displayed, which leads to non-loaded JavaScript.

744 is a wrong permission and 755 should work well for most cases.

Thank you Paul, that did the trick. Somewhere I just read you should use 744 for security reasons, but disabling the forum is not so good idea :D

It would be good if you could refer to the document where you have read it ;-) I can't remember any of miniBB READMEs which mention that.
