Hi guys!

Where do i find the function handling the $protectWholeForum=1; and $protectWholeForumPwd=''; ?

I need to change it so it doesn't check up agains the variables hardcoded into the source but dynamically by looking at the userdatabase and see..

If the user exist .. check password.. if they match up.. give access to forum (rememeber to login the user too).

Thank you!

Here's how to find where to edit this and that.
Look up for the variable in miniBB files, and you will find the only one proper file and place to edit.

But in general, I didn't get your purpose. It seems like you are trying go more difficult and complicated way, instead of using a pretty simple solution miniBB obviously may have already. For example, you can hide all forums before a user is logged in.
